“The hottest ticket in Israel. These women from Israel create an intriguing and energetic fusion of Jazz, with Klezmer – Rock.” (“Oris Jazz Festival”, London)
It all started with an idea, to create new and exciting music , based on Jewish folklore, a style which brings together east and west, old and new.
Our repertoire includes original and traditional music with a unique flavor of world, ethnic and Jazz styles.
As we are a women band, we add to it our special feminine touch.
“Eve’s Women” performed in Israel as well as abroad in the most prominent festivals and concert halls, including the Roskilde Festival, Denmark, the “ Oris” Jazz Festival, London, the International festival in Brooklyn, New York, the Johannesburg Jazz festival, South Africa, The International Beijing Festival, China, The Queen of Thailand Birthday, the International Jazz and Blues Festival, Tel Aviv, the Sefad International Klezmer Festival and others.
The group has successfully toured the USA, Germany, China, Greece, Eastern Europe, England, Denmark, Thailand, Vietnam and Spain .
“… When they let off steam, things really let up. ..Together they make music which intermingles cool Jazzy tones with seductive oriental tones.” (Roskilde Festival, Denmark, 1997)
“Thousands of Chinese couldn’t be wrong. Eve’s Women: One of the more refreshing groups we have in this country…their music has fascinating nuances. A very unique ensemble which combines different colors as ethnic, classical, jazzy and more.” (Yuval Meskin, the Israel National Radio)
